Geospatial Analytics of neighbourhood

In this project, I created a web application which seeks to provide an interactive user interface which will enable the user to display the types of information related to mobility of the the physically disabled within a neighbourhood. This project have narrowed to an area scope of Woodgrove, a subzone located in Woodlands.

These are some of the benefits of this project:
1) Benefit in being able to see how accessible are the neighbourhood facilities such as shops and polyclinics from the public housing(HDBs) as well as from each other.
2) Able to gauge how wheelchair friendly the neighbourhood is by looking at the distance between the ramps and footpaths as well as the neighbourhood facilities.

Using Harversine formula to calculate fly over distance, the function is being used to calculate the distance and map out the appropriate route. Process consist of data clipping of subzone in the neighbourhood, cleaning the layer of footpath, geo-coding to a csv files regarding the coordinates of the path and finding buffer distance to the nearest ramp based on different distance of 5km in green and 500m in blue circles. The statistics can be derived and interpreted from the map analysis and displayed in another section of the application.
